 [## Sozialhilfe im Landkreis: Ausgaben seit 2015 verdoppelt – und die Statistik wirft neue Fragen auf

Die Ausgaben für Sozialhilfe nach dem SGB XII im Landkreis Limburg-Weilburg sind binnen zehn Jahren von knapp 42 auf mehr als 84 Millionen Euro gestiegen. Gleichzeitig hat sich die Zahl nichtdeutscher Leistungsfälle deutlich stärker erhöht als die deutscher Fälle. Die Antwort des Kreisausschusses auf eine Anfrage der AfD-Fraktion zeigt allerdings auch: Nichtdeutsche Leistungsbezieher verursachen im Durchschnitt erheblich niedrigere Leistungsausgaben. Bei Verwaltungskosten, Aufenthaltsstatus und der Wirkung von Einbürgerungen bleiben dagegen Fragen offen.
