 [##  Gedenken an Charles Werabe und die soziale Frage

Am 23.10.2024 jährt sich das Gedenken an die Ermordung von Charles Werabe zum zehnten Mal. Der Mann aus Ruanda lebte damals in Limburg in einer Obdachlosenunterkunft und wurde nach einem Streit von drei Männern ermordet. Hierbei spielten rassistische Beweggründe offenbar eine wichtige Rolle. Doch wenn wir uns an diesem Tag an Charles erinnern, sollten wir es uns nicht so einfach machen, und die Tat ausschließlich auf das rassistische Tatmotiv zu reduzieren. Zumal die Täter keineswegs dem rechtsextremen Milieu zugeordnet werden konnten. Die soziale Frage muss bei dieser Tat mitgedacht werden. Und beide Motive haben ihre Implikationen bis zum heutigen Tag.

Bundestags-Vizepräsidentin Katrin Göring-Eckhardt ist während des Spiels Deutschland-Ungarn bei der Fußball-EM 2024 mit einem anti-deutschen, rassistischen Tweet aufgefallen. Nach heftigem Shit-Storm löschte die Grünen-Politikerin, die schon öfters durch mehr als fragwürdige Verbal-Entgleisungen aufgefallen ist, den Tweet wie auch die tausenden Kommentare darunter.
