 [## Wenn Aktivisten über Werbegeld entscheiden wollen: Campact, YouTube und die Macht der Kunden

Eine Kampagne von Campact soll Unternehmen dazu bewegen, ihre Werbung von mehr als 60 YouTube-Kanälen und Medien fernzuhalten, die die Organisation als „Hetzkanäle“, „AfD-nah“ oder anderweitig problematisch einstuft. Rund 90 Unternehmen wurden angesprochen, knapp 30 sollen reagiert haben. Doch Nachfragen zeigen: Zwischen Campacts Erfolgsmeldung und dem, was Unternehmen tatsächlich erklären, liegen teilweise erhebliche Unterschiede. Der Vorgang wirft deshalb eine grundsätzliche Frage auf: Wenn politische Aktivisten Unternehmen über wirtschaftlichen Druck zur Distanzierung von Medien bewegen wollen – dürfen dann nicht ebenso Kunden ihre wirtschaftliche Macht nutzen und von den Unternehmen Rechenschaft verlangen?
