Vor dem Landgericht Essen ist ein Fall verhandelt worden, der selbst in der nüchternen Sprache der Justiz kaum zu ertragen ist: Eine 32-jährige Mutter aus Gelsenkirchen und ein 44-jähriger Mann aus Dorsten mussten sich wegen schwerer Vorwürfe des sexuellen Missbrauchs von Kindern verantworten. Betroffen sind nach bisherigen Medienberichten die leiblichen Kinder der Frau; die mutmaßlichen Taten sollen sich zwischen 2023 und 2025 ereignet haben. Die Angeklagte arbeitete als Erzieherin in einer städtischen Kindertageseinrichtung in Gelsenkirchen.

Mittlerweile ist nach WAZ-Bericht ein Urteil gesprochen worden: Die ehemalige Kita-Mitarbeiterin muss ins Gefängnis. Die genauen Urteilsgründe und das Strafmaß sind ohne vollständige Einsicht in den Bericht beziehungsweise die Gerichtsmitteilung hier nicht abschließend darstellbar. Fest steht aber: Der Fall hat längst eine Dimension erreicht, die weit über den Gerichtssaal hinausweist.
