Die 34-jährigen Zwillingsbrüder sind Forstwirte, betreiben nebenberuflich ein Forst- und Gartenbauunternehmen und engagieren sich ehrenamtlich. Bei der kommenden Kommunalwahl im Landkreis Limburg-Weilburg treten sie erstmals politisch an – auf der Liste der **Alternative für Deutschland**. Anlass für das Gespräch ist jedoch nicht allein ihre Kandidatur, sondern eine kommunale Entscheidung, die beispielhaft zeigt, wie schnell Politik ganz konkret im Leben der Menschen ankommt.
