Während es draußen langsam kälter wird, wird es in den Gasspeichern eng. Knapp über 70 % Speicherfüllstand – das meldet die Bundesnetzagentur derzeit. Klingt technisch. Ist aber politisch explosiv. Denn normalerweise liegen die Füllstände zu dieser Jahreszeit bei **über 90 %**. Darüber berichteten wir gestern. Und deshalb wollten wir es genauer wissen – und haben bei der Bundesnetzagentur nachgefragt. Die Antworten zeichnen ein Bild, das deutlich **weniger beruhigend** ist, als es auf den ersten Blick klingt.

Es wird kalt. Und Deutschland zündet sich in aller Ruhe die letzte Kerze an, während das Streichholz langsam herunterbrennt. Die Gasspeicher sind in diesem Jahr **deutlich schwächer gefüllt** als sonst — statt der gewohnten 90 % Reserve liegen sie derzeit nur **knapp über 70 %**. Das klingt nach „gar nicht so schlimm“. Ist es aber. Denn wenn der Winter zuschlägt, kann aus „noch reicht’s“ sehr schnell „Licht aus“ werden.
