 [## Durchsuchung bei der Kreissparkasse Weilburg: Ermittler prüfen Darlehen an Löhnberger Gesellschaft

Die Ermittlungen um die Finanzaffäre der Gemeinde Löhnberg haben eine neue Dimension erreicht. Am Dienstag, 8. September, haben Ermittler rund acht Stunden lang Räume der Kreissparkasse Weilburg durchsucht. Nach Auskunft der Staatsanwaltschaft Frankfurt am Main gegenüber dem Fingerklopfer geht es um den Verdacht, Mitarbeiter des Kreditinstituts könnten zu Unrecht Darlehen an die Löhnberger Grundbesitz GmbH vergeben haben.

Die Vorwürfe seien, so formuliert es die Staatsanwaltschaft, „Ausfluss aus dem gesonderten Ermittlungsverfahren gegen den vormaligen Bürgermeister der Gemeinde Löhnberg“.

Damit reicht das seit 2024 laufende strafrechtliche Verfahren inzwischen über Rathaus und früheren Bürgermeister hinaus bis in ein Kreditinstitut in kommunaler Trägerschaft. Welche Mitarbeiter konkret beschuldigt werden, welche Darlehen Gegenstand des Verfahrens sind und um welche Summen es dabei geht, lässt die Staatsanwaltschaft derzeit offen.
