Gelsenkirchen - Der spektakuläre Schließfachraub bei der Sparkasse Gelsenkirchen-Buer gehört bereits jetzt zu den größten Bankverbrechen der jüngeren deutschen Geschichte. In der Nacht drangen bislang unbekannte Täter in den Tresorraum ein, öffneten rund **3.200 Schließfächer** und entwendeten nahezu deren gesamten Inhalt. Die offiziell kommunizierte Schadenssumme liegt bislang bei rund **30 Millionen Euro** – doch diese Zahl steht zunehmend in der Kritik.

Auf einer Kundgebung am **10. Januar 2026** äußerte sich die Gelsenkirchener AfD-Politikerin **Enxhi Seli-Zacharias** ungewöhnlich deutlich – nicht nur zum Tathergang, sondern vor allem zur Situation der Geschädigten und zur politischen Aufarbeitung des Falls. Dabei fiel eine bemerkenswerte Verschiebung der politischen Fronten auf: Während aus linken und linksliberalen Kreisen zunehmend Relativierungen zu hören seien, positioniert sich ausgerechnet die AfD demonstrativ auf der Seite der Betroffenen.
